Is Hotelgram for me?

If you: a) are a small to medium sized property with 2 to 100 rooms, b) are currently managing your property with pen and paper, an Excel spreadsheet or any other manual system, c) realised you pay for your current software way too much or d) are just thinking about opening a new hotel business, then Hotelgram is the perfect solution for you. Do I need to download software for Hotelgram?

No, Hotelgram is a completely web-based “in cloud” solution. You can access it from anywhere in the world via the internet with your computer or mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.

What if the internet goes down?

Nothing to worry about. It can happen, but you can always access Hotelgram through mobile internet on your smartphone or tablet using your browser or one of our native iOS or Android apps. This means you will never have to worry about power outages or fear your PC might crash and lose all your data ever again.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. When we have a simple contract that protects your data and guarantees you high level of service. But there is no commitment for you to stick with us any longer if you don't wish to :)

Do you connect to Booking.com, Expedia, LateRooms.com and alike?

Yes we do! With Hotelgram, hoteliers have unlimited connectivity to any number of distribution channels. We continually integrate with new online sales channels to give our users the greatest possible exposure and accessibility. Manage all your reservations and updates through Hotelgram and you will never have to keep track of multiple admins ever again.

So do I manage all my reservations in Hotelgram?

Yes, you do. Hotelgram has an easy-to-use reservation calendar that makes managing your guest stays an easy task; all the way from taking bookings (incl. those from OTAs), check-in & check-out to post-stay communication.

Does Hotelgram allow me to take bookings through my own website?

Yes it does. Hotelgram has a booking engine that enables guests to make live direct bookings 24 hours 7 days a week through your own website, smartphones and even via Facebook.

How do you protect my data against loss?

We are hosting your data with a highly professional hosting service protecting your data from fire, floods, earthquakes (well, no earthquakes in Prague) and other natural disasters, which guarantees you 99.98% uptime. In case anything happens to one of our servers, it is immediately replaced by another. The server rooms are under extensive security measures while only two people have access to them. Your data has never been safer than with Hotelgram.

Who else has access to my data?

Only you and your staff based on the user permissions you set up. All of our employees who could access some of your data are under legally binding contracts preventing them from sharing any of your data with any 3rd party. Your data safety and privacy is our utmost priority.

What if I need some new feature?

Even though we dare to think that Hotelgram can comfortably serve any small to medium sized hotel, we still love adding new features. Just send us your suggestions and we’ll add your wish to the development queue if there’s a shared interest across our user community. We also allow for individual development. Can I transfer data from my existing system?

It can be tricky, but we are here to help. If your current management system enables you to export your data into XLS or XML format, then this is a relatively easy task. If, however, we need to go through your database such as MS SQL, Postgre SQL, MySQL etc. it will be more time consuming to transfer your data, but still possible. On the other hand, downloading your reservations from for example Booking.com and uploading them to Hotelgram is a breeze.

Do I have to back up my own system?

You don’t have to back up the system as we are doing it every 20 minutes automatically. This means that whatever might happen to your PC or device you use to access Hotelgram, nothing will ever cause data loss. If you however prefer “hard copies” of your data, you can also download all your reservations in XLS (Excel) or PDF format for print-outs at any time.

Do you provide on-site training?

Yes we do, and we love doing it! On-site training is usually not needed since Hotelgram is easy to grasp, but experience shows that something good always comes out of it when we actually get to visit our clients. Please get in touch to arrange for on-site training.

Can you help with the initial setup?

Of course! We have designed a very intuitive online setup that guides you through your hotel system initial setup. In case you require further assistance with advanced settings, please let us know.

Can I use Hotelgram on my tablet or smartphone?

Yes you can. It’s perfectly fine to use the Hotelgram management system on your tablet or smartphone. Simply download our iOS or Android app and stay on top of your reservations when you’re on the go.
